Mission Statement

Setting the Standard, Building Legacies

At Texas Legacy Volleyball Club, we are dedicated to helping young players grow and excel in the sport of volleyball.

Our goal is to provide unparalleled instruction that ensures the building of character and the development of skills and sportsmanship, while providing a fun and Christ-centered environment for our players to reach their maximum potential. With an indomitable work ethic, we believe that our players will be successful on the court and in their future experiences.

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” ~ Joshua 1:9

Mini BIOS

In 2014, Coach Katie left a job in oil and gas to pursue a passion project that would later become known as Texas Legacy Volleyball Club. From scratch, she built this club on a Christian-based foundation that puts the athlete first and fosters an environment that feels like a family. Throughout the years of growth and change, Katie maintains that the one thing that remains the same is the dedication to providing an excellent experience for the athletes that you won’t find in other organizations. Katie is a wife to Eric and a mom to 3 girls, Kaitlyn, Kennedy, and Kinley, who all happen to play volleyball for TLVC!

Coach Jen moved to north Houston in 2014 after seven years of teaching and coaching in west Fort Worth. Jen had created a business plan to start her own club in the western metroplex before moving here for her husband’s job. Once in the area, she and Katie immediately connected and joined forces to combine their ideas, interests, and philosophies to grow TLVC to what it is today. Jen is a wife to Miles and a mom to her son Tate.

Why Choose Legacy?

At Texas Legacy Volleyball Club (TLVC), we are adamant about providing kids with a DIFFERENT experience while playing club volleyball.

We openly recognize Christ as the center of our club. Our coaches and staff pray with the kids before, after, and/or during our gatherings. We are grateful to God for what we do and for His blessings of our talents, wisdom and ability to play the game we love!

1 Corinthians 1:4-5 I always thank my God for you because of His grace given you in Christ Jesus. 5 For in Him you have been enriched in every way.

Legacy intends to remain an intentional club that strives for quality over quantity. We WANT to know parents and athletes by name when you walk through our doors. This is a home away from home, and we strive to exhibit the characteristics of a FAMILY.

We make personal connections with our athletes and parents by providing team-building opportunities and establishing open lines of communication. At TLVC, another way we intend to set ourselves apart is to provide a family-oriented atmosphere, as one of our main goals is to establish life-long relationships with those who join our Legacy family.

We pledge to be understanding about conflicts, but expect to be a priority as well.

Our doors are open to any and all entrants! We look forward to adding to our family and seeing what our great God has in store for the future of Legacy.
