Texas Legacy is proud to be a Christian-based volleyball club, and we are constantly working to better ourselves for our athletes, parents, staff and most of all, for God. We offer Legacy Ministry as a way to communicate God’s word to the impressionable young women in our club as they experience the difficulties of being a teenager and growing in their faith. Building character, self-esteem and knowledge of their worth in Christ is essential to the growth of our kids.
Just as we teach sportsmanship, teamwork and effort on the court, we want to teach these young ladies how to create and maintain the solid foundation of a Godly woman off the court and in the game of life.
Mission of Hope’s ONE MISSION is a strategic plan to build a brighter future for men, women, and children in Haiti and the Dominican Republic through food security, education, and community engagement.
Texas Legacy is partnering with Mission of Hope this year to provide donated funds to the mission and to send missionaries to the field to help meet the basic needs and spread the word of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, to the people of these countries.
ONE MISSION GOAL:
BY 2030 –
100 million nutritious meals distributed
125,000 students thriving in our education programs
200 communities with healthy, gospel-centered churches across the island
Over the 5 weeks, we will study the book “We Saved You a Seat” by Lisa-Jo Baker. There is a $15 charge for the book and other materials.
